TIPS FOR BUILDING YOUR PERSONAL BRANDING

You've been feeling that other people find it difficult to appreciate you or you feel that other people don't care about you and even worse, other people feel annoyed by your presence among them! Feelings like that make you feel insecure, overthinking and lose your confidence.

Talking about these problems means we are talking about personal branding. How we shape our personality, how others perceive us, what our abilities and attitudes are professionally and also for the future. 

Instead of being considered toxic by the people around you, you can start to improve your personal branding in the following ways. 

1. Know yourself




To improve your personal branding, first of all you have to know yourself first, you can find out what you like and dislike. You also have to know what flaws you have, if you are a person who likes to gossip, stubborn, ungrateful, likes to complain, and feel always right then change that attitude from now on!  

As people often say "If you want to be appreciated then appreciate others first."

It's better to read more books, exercise, hang out with people who can help you to improve yourself and stay away from people or habits that make it difficult for you to develop. 

You don't need to force yourself to change fundamentally, you can make these changes slowly.


2. Explore and develop your potential




Instead of you thinking about others or criticizing others to the point of making others dislike you. Start exploring the potential that exists within yourself and recognize your preferred field. Start broadening your horizons, know your strengths and weaknesses, dare to try new things, don't be afraid to fail and criticize yourself.


3. Open minded




Be someone who has an open mindset, willing to accept input and criticism from others, dare to take risks, be able to think critically and not be afraid to express opinions "you don't have to say Yes when you really want to say No."


4. Don't Over Share




If you over post something on social media it can affect your personal branding! People can judge you by what they see in your social media posts. The point is not everything about yourself you have to publish, you must understand the limits of using social media and remember that you have privacy in life. 


Those are some initial steps that you can apply in life that can improve your personal branding to be much better. But if you've tried to do your best but there are still people who don't like something about you, what you should know is that not everything is in your control, for example, such as their actions or opinions on something.

You only need to focus on what you can control, such as your actions, your perception of things, your desires or your goals. Because you can't make everyone happy.

Give yourself rewards for all the efforts you have made and for the many things you have gone through so far. Do it all on your own terms and treat yourself with the best. In what way? By continuing to learn and improve yourself, not for others but for yourself.
